At March 18 sitting, the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local-Self Government, Agriculture and Environment the report on Procedure and Results of the Implementation of the RA Government Programme for 2020 was debated.

According to the Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Vache Terteryan, during the last year, the work designed in the framework of the administrative-territorial reforms continued in the communities. In particular, subsidized programmes for 26bln. AMD were implemented, 4bln. AMD out of which - from the state budget. 11bln. AMD were allocated from the community budgets, which proves that the institute of local self-government bodies work. Other individuals or juridical persons also participated in the implementation of the community programmes, making investments in the amount of 700mln. AMD.

Development programmes were implemented in 28 united communities, for that purpose 1,85bln AMD of grant assistance were allocated: 2,1bln. AMD were directed to provide apartments to the families of our 185 compatriots deported from Azerbaijan. The programme is still continuing. It is planned to provide apartments for about 200-240 refugee families this year. The Deputy Minister thinks that the Government will solve this problem within 1-2 years.

The water intake was less from Lake Sevan than it was envisaged.

The construction of Kaps reservoir will start this year: on the previous year, works were done in this direction. 10 large communities were digitalized.
